Our first campsite. It was noisy (along the highway), cold, rainy, and annoying. We woke up and left at 4:45am. Hope we woke up the people who were loud and obnoxious the night before. 'Chasm', north of Clinton BC. Incredible place. Chasm Jen at Chasm. She's afraid of heights, so the fence is good :) Chasm

Barkerville's resident fox. The thing was huge...the size of a large dog. Creek at Barkerville. Greg nabbed some cool rocks from the banks. It was cold...now you know why we didn't camp. Instead we stayed at the St. George Hotel. It's proprietors, Thomas and Bettina Schoen were immensely hospitable and welcoming. Highly recommended! Room 2. Supposedly haunting by a woman who *gasp* is only visible to men and sits on the bed at 2:30am. Spooky.
