Bear vs. Balls of steel
The just buy a stick-on to fake it! link
I’m kind of tempted to buy it to stick on places where sunroofs don’t belong…dumpsters, industrial air conditioners, etc.
Took my utility trailer into the shop on Saturday for new tires and repacking the bearings. The previous owner lost one of the bearing caps, and the shop I took it to looked all over to find one that would fit, with no success. Luckily, a little ingenuity on their part has made it so that I was protecting the bearing from dust:

I actually have to give them some credit for not leaving me with nothing ![]()
Gotta wire-brush and paint those rims too.
The Radioactive Boy Scout arrested again after more thefts of smoke detectors to experiment with radioactivity. You might not know the original story, here’s a summary: as a teen, he took apart anything with radioactive elements (glow-in-the-dark clocks, smoke detectors, etc.) and attempted to make himself a reactor, in an attempt to earn a boy scout merit badge. Well, he didn’t learn his lesson, as you can see by the photo in the article…he continues experiments and now is covered in sores. I wonder if the original exposure affected his brain. Certainly it didn’t give him superpowers.

Dilated eye, courtesy of the optometrist. They should have probably warned me about my incredibly light sensitive eyes being even worse when dilated.
Great post, with pictures and directions for making your own bacon. I love good, crispy and tasty, bacon. And it seems that I rarely can get that any more.
